Fat and in my Forties

Caught the bug again a couple of years ago and had to buy a '79 KZ1000ST (it was lovely and cheap!). Unfortunately have hardly had a chance to get my backside on her as I have been working in the Middle East while she sits tucked up in my garage back in the UK. Back to Blighty for good this Christmas so time for the project to begin (as the wife commands!) Going to stick a Voyager fairing and Vetter panniers on her and give her a once over. at the moment she is mainly blue and silver, with one red quarter panel, burgundy panniers and black fairing.:P

Yes, very nice ride you have there. In time you'll be able to ride, but you have it now. It will be worth the wait.

Welcome to KZR.

she pulls like a train and it feels like a real bike compared to more modern rockets I have ridden.

Welcome to the forum C2518...nice bike! I have wanted one of those for quite some time...FYI, if you are fat and in your forties, it doesn't get any better...I'm fat and in my fifties (but I started out fat and in my forties!)
