pirelli phantoms are smookin again

:woohoo: Just wanted to introduce myself to everyone! HI THERE this is pz1morton from toronto,ont.canada.i am in the process of refurbing my Z1's. i have two 1975 Z1 900's,one i've owned since 75 the other i bought in 80 as a parts's bike but didn't have the heart to do it. soas time goes on an raising children we are at 2007. kids are grown up a gone onto their lives,mom and dad have a life again.so here comes the hard part trying to refurb a couple of beauty's.where to start. basicly i know what i need.some parts got lost or stolen or thrown out.we had a break in years ago some things that were stolen. this is my x-mas list. a set of vm29mm smooth bore carb's,rear inner fender, rear tail lamp assy,front forkbrace,steering dampner,a rear tail piece,if any one knows of a set of dy-mag wheels,electronic ignition,coils.any help in procurring any or all of these parts would be much appreciated. thanks and have a good day to all.

I get down to Toronto occasionally with the bike. Although maybe not too many more times this year. I grew up down there, but now live in Keswick.
What part of the city you live in?

I used to have perelli phantoms on my bike, but I think they contributed to my bike being wobbly. I've got Bridgestones now and all is good.

Give us some pictures of your rides when you can.

Hey Rob how's it going. thanks for responding.ya i figured someone might remember those tires.they were good for a season only.great smoke shows soft compound.you have some nice rides especialy that blue one in the picture.unfortunately i have only one picture of my 75 Z1.lost alot of stuff during a move and subsequent fire. the reason i have this picture is because i keeped at work.right now the bike's are at frame only everything else are in box's ready to bo fixed and repaired to be brought back to life. am trying to find someone to do powder coating for the frame? hope to talk to you soon Paul. oh by the way i am at neilson & 401 south east side. talk to ya.

I was just on Wiredgeorge's site and it looks like he has a set of VM 29's available.
