Hello from The Netherlands

Good afternoon everybody!! I am Klaas from Steenwijk, The Netherlands. The bike I own is a Kawasaki GPZ 750, also know'n as the KZ 750 GP (R1). I bought this bike to repair it and make a nice caferacer. This is not my only bike, I have a Yamaha FZR 600 from 1991 too. The picture shows how it looks like at this moment. In teh next few weeks i am going to repair the 2nd gear, because when I deccelerate it does not stay in 2nd gear. I already ordered a coplete set of gaskets.

Hope my Englisch is not too bad and looking forward for the info on this site.

Welcome... don't worry, your English better that my Dutch.

Are those new progressive rear shocks? What type? Where did you get them? Did you feel any difference?

You will want to edit your pictures to 540 x 540 pixels so that it does distort the page. :blink:

You may also want to put your bike's year, model and location in your signature for easy access by other members.

These are indeed progressive Shocks. The brand is Koni, but they are made for the Kawa Z650. As you can see on the picture below did we have to weld an new point too attach, because the size from heart to heart is 28MM smaller

Nice bike you have there. What kind of Gas Tank is that?

I really don't know the herritage of the gastank, but it's an Polyester tank. More pictures will follow later this, for me, night.

Cool project, looks like a Duc 750SS tank.
Ik woonde tot een paar jaar geleden in Breda, dus ik spreek nog Nederlands - moet wel steeds harder nadenken haha. Dit is een goede site waar je veel aan gaat hebben denk ik. Welkom!
