Hello From The Texas Gulf Coast
19 Aug 2007 16:04
Hello everyone I’m new to the site and wanted to introduce myself and say hello to everyone. I am a new owner of an old KZ 650. I have been riding for many years and ride ever chance I get, I also have an 05 Yamaha Road Star Warrior that I just broke 30,000 miles on.
I ride the Texas Hill Country 2 or 3 times a year and I am planning a trip to Tenn. next year to ride the Dragon's Tail, Cherohala Skyway and the Striped Snake, I should be curve crazy after that trip :woohoo: I also posted in the project section of the forum with the story of my KZ and pictures.
If you are ever down the Texas Gulf Coast area drop a line or if you need ride maps of the area let me know. Look forward to getting to know everyone.

I live in Texas City which is about 15 miles north of Galveston. We should organize a small gulf coast ride. I have quite a few riding buddies with all kinds of bikes. My other street bike is a 2003 VTX1800R.

Sounds good and if you would like to do some riding up in my neck of the woods let me know. I am on a big project at work and I have been working a lot of Over time lately and the only riding I have been doing is to work and back.
I am starting to here the Texas Hill Country call my name, I am going to try to head that way October 13-16. Going to stay in Leakey, Texas at the D'Rose Inn, that place is great ( For Two Wheel Riders Only) and is at the starting point for riding the 3 Sisters. (Ranch Road 335,336,337). If you guy ever plan a trip that way let me know can send you maps of the rides I have done.
When I get my KZ done I would like to take it up to the Hill Country for a trip next year.:woohoo:
