Hi, everybody was created by McGregor
I'm so glad I found this forum. Recently, I inherited KZ 1000 CSR. I think its 1981 or 1982, I'm not sure. Since I don't have factory manual, I bought one on Ebay, CLYMER M451.

She has 4-1 KERKER exhaust, sissy bar, custom seat, engine guards with highway pegs. Bike doesn't start, because it's been sitting in our friend's garage for a long time, probably since the end of 20 century.

She is very good lookin', and, one day, I hope, I'll put her back on the road.
Stay cool, ride safe.

Welcome!

If you hang around here long enough, "some day" will be sooner than you think.

Welcome to the site!
Your bike looks great! Is that the way it looks now?
If so, charge the battery, change the oil, gas it up, and go ride!

Yes, I took the picture couple of days ago.
And I did everything that you mention, but so far
that's no progress:(
So I'll dig dipper and post my questions ( I think it will be a lot of them ) on technical forums.

Thanx everybody for your nice words.

It's nice to be here :)

Real nice looking original survivor. Your seat is the stock item and from what I can see the sissybar is a genuine Kawasaki accessory item that was sold through their acessory catalog. I can't see it but I'm going to guess it has a brass eagle insert in it. Those are pretty rare and IIRC they sold for about a hundred bucks when they were new. How many miles are on her?

Almost 11K :)
And you right, sissy bar has brass eagle insert in it, ala "Harley-Davidson".
