Oh no, not another FNG!?
28 Jun 2007 10:32
Just an introduction before I start picking brains.
Names Jamie but everyone calls me Mute (cept the wife, butIm not sure typing cusswords is allowed here..) so I tend to answer to either.
Im into everything out there with 2 wheels, including scooters as long as its dark and nobodys around:whistle:
I own a custom bike shop mostly making the parts, only service our own and friends rides. I like working on em (motor wise), but havent the experience to charge anyone for it so here I am at this site.
Ah yes, pictures. Dont know if you guys will consider it sacrilege or not but we have 2 KZ750B's in the shop. One is a ground up custom (my bro's, all his work/ideas etc, I just do the welding and bending for him) and one that I am chopping the stock frame on and making a hardtail out of (they ride better than most think when done right).
Enough of the balbbering, if I can figure out pics, I will post em.

I often find a lot of people may roll their eyes, sigh, shake their heads... but so long as you do a decent job, most people don't make a huge fuss about it and there are always people who will appreciate your work.
If, however, you take something perfectly good and turn it into a pile of garbage, you'd probably expect some criticism.
Take a DeLorean that has some massive damage around the tortion bar and turn it into a decent looking convertible? Sure! You did some good work. Maybe it's rough around the edges but hey, overall it's pretty cool.
Take a DeLorean with working doors, good tortion bars and good body and you haphazardly hacksaw the top off it? Yeah....uh....yeah, maybe that isn't going to get a warm welcome....

THAT, however. Well, I'm not a big chopper guy but that looks like it'll be pretty slick when it's done.

I think that chopper is longer than my CAR.
Good luck parking that perpendicular to any curb![:) :)](/media/kunena/emoticons/8.png)
Looks sweet, though.

 Yea, we tend to build em around 9 1/2 foot or so when we do a long bike.
Got another ride thats being built (the evil H brand) thats the same, but the tallest part of it is 3 foot off the ground
Just a real rough mock up with no swing arm yet.. (havent fabbed the single side arm yet)
