introducing myself
24 Jun 2007 19:24
Hi!
I am a new member as well as a new rider. I bought a 1982 kz305 in March 2007. It needed some work . We,a few of my friends, did some body work, a new paint job, replaced cables, tryed powdwer coating some small parts.By the end of April we had it ready for inspection. This is my first bike. I just passed my riders edge motorcycle class. Fixing the bike was a lot easier than riding it. I think I am improving. I have some other projects I would like to do to it, but I think I will wait till I get more riding experience.Any suggestions would be welcome.

Welcome to KZR and KZs lisasue. Enjoy the bike, they are a lot of fun. Oh, we need pictures,, . When you do a post or reply and the next page comes up, do not click on the "Back" key or you will go double, triple and in your case quintuple posts..
If you click on the return to post that won't happen.
Ride safe.

Welcome to KZR lisasue! I am a relatively new rider also (sept 06). Ride, ride, ride... that helps fluency. Also, do low-speed practice when you can, I find that is really the tricky part! I putt around parking lots trying to do tight circles (in both directions!) Watch out for sand, etc. - that can really make for a crappy day.

Welcome to the group Lisa!! I hope that you like it here and yeah, don't forget to post pics!!! We'll all forgive you for the double, triple, quadruple posts.... it's happened to almost everyone once or twice.
Good to see another lady aboard, I'm starting to feel not so outnumbered!

Welcome Lisa.
Have fun and ride safely.
And yes, add some pictures here as well. I saw you tried in the Gallery earlier but were not successful. There are a few posts the run through picture posting somewhere that should help you.

Welcome to the site! You'll get lots of help and good ideas from these folks.
By the way, its considered real nice to add a signature with your bike year, model and your location.
Have a great riding season.
