Hello fellow KZrs. I've been a member of this site for four years but its been a while since I've posted. Thought I'd come back and see what was going on.

This group has grown quite a bit so let me reintroduce myslef. I've often been referred to as Revs, which is short for Reverend. Yes, I'm a motorcycling pastor!

My ride is a 1982 KZ550 that was given to me out of a farmer's barn in Nebraska. I've got it running pretty good right now and there's only 4900 miles on the odometer.

Not sure I'll be able to post a whole lot but will certainly try to chime in here and there.

Hi revs KZ550, It's nice to see you back. I was just thinking about you the other day wondering where you went. Well what do you know, here you are. :)

Hi Revs!

Good to see you back. This spring I got a '78 SR 650 going for one of the members of our congregation. I've heard that in the past Rev. Fritz would take it for a spin, I'm not sure if he's done so yet since the owner got it back a couple of weeks ago.

Funny story about that bike. I was talking to the owner today and it seems he left it out at his brother's farm a week ago. Over last weekend they were at a family function and the owner asked one of his nieces whether they'd been taken for a ride on it. No was the answer. So, earlier this week he was out at the farm and told his brother to ride the bike out to the end of the lane and back before he took the girls for a ride. By the time he got back to the house his daughters were waiting. They both got a ride and one of them said, "We need a bike like that!"

I love it! :)

Hope your rides are good ones.

Nate

Nates vintage bike axiom: Riding is the reward for time spent wrenching.
Murphys corollary: Wrenching is the result of time spent riding.
