New member, old dog

Hello everyone,
I just signed up after lurking for awhile. 'Was a big bike fan back in the 70's and 80's so naturally my interests stay in that era. Technology far surpasses my skill level so while I leave the ZX14'S to the youngsters I will be more than happy getting my '84 1100 GPZ out of mothballs to upgrade it enough to at least keep up. My interests wonder from that bike, which I bought brand new in 1990 to a 1981 Ducati Darmah SD900 when I want to hear the best V Twin music. When I just want to kick back and go slower (6mph), I like to rebuild old John Deere and Bolens garden tractors.
So I look forward to giving and getting advice when it comes to keeping these big UJM monsters on the road.

Thanks,
Stephen Stepanian

Welcome old dog -- to where experience can indeed make a difference. :cheer:

Recalling the old bull on hilltop overlooking the herd and the new young bull rushes over and says let's run down the hill and do a cow. To which the old bull replied, let's walk down, and do 'em all. :P

Great having you here! :)

Hi-
Let us know where you are...best put that and bikes in signature for the other old guys so we won't keep asking. I've been tryig to swap friend out of his 74 duc 750 for years. No back wheel and sitting in a shed. He rides a 75. It's the best V-twin sound for sure.

Thanks for the welcome!
I'm not far from you Nevco48, in Saratoga, NY. 'Went to Laconia for many years. Miss the AMA years and the old track. Duck, grab that 750. Those roundcases were the prettiest bevels made!
