Gday

Just wanted to drop in as a fan of "Old School" Kawasakis. I stumbled onto your forum by accident, but I'm sure I'll make myself at home.

Perhaps its about time to stop lurking and start posting.

Hi, my name is Josh and I'm a biker. I make no excuses for this. I ride daily and love it, rain hail or shine (not keen about the wind). Living in Australia means I can ride all year 'round so I feel quite lucky. On the flip side, there is no winter time to do those BIG projects that our UK brethren can do.

I have had my current project/daily commute for 13 years, a ZR750C1. It has had many incarnations and like many of the Heavy Industried Kawasakis, shares many of the same components with many other models.

My first bike was a 1982 KZ250LTD which I had for 4 or so years. I managed to hone my riding and mechanical skills on that one-lunger. Managed to have a fair few crashes on it too.

Thanks for reading this far

Hey Jimmy

I'm near Bondi. It's nice to hear that many of us are here to fly the flag :)

Here is a pic of my LTD - a few years ago.

Here is the C1 - It is awaiting the installation of a new ZRX swingarm. I've just polished and put on some 1980 KZ650 cases but I think I'll go with some classic 1978 ones.

Nice Zephyr and a great picture with the glider. The width of your photo is probably the cause of the "stretch" in text. A mod will size it for you maybe. I think 550 pixels is the max width or some such.
Do you run Koni's or IKON's for rear shocks there. I run Koni and have dealt with IKON in your country and they are good folks. :)
