Hi,
Just bought my first bike this weekend, a KZ 550 LTD. Hope to get it on the road next weekend. This looks like a great place to get some info on it.

Hey Pat, Welcome! I found this site when I bought my old semi-neglected KZ750 twin last fall. The folks here have been always very helpful. This is THE place for the KZ krowd. Search the archives first, but I have yet to be flamed for asking something that has been asked before. Evidently, newcomers are common here! ![;) ;)](/media/kunena/emoticons/11.png)
Oh, and pics are an absolute necessity!!

You can post pictures here in this thread (max 550 pixels wide is the norm) using the "Browse" button below the message box. or using a picture posting site like photobucket etc. and pasting the URL address here.
Also if you go over the "Members" tab up above, you'll get the Gallery tab (as well as U2U (messages) and events tabs). In the Gallery you can add some pix under whichever group.

Hey Pat, welcome. Always good to see more New England guys. We are tougher than the Fla/ AZ/CA creampuff dudes that think 50* is cold weather!

Here's a pic of her. Just got her registered and hope to go for a ride this weekend. BTW Nevco48 I live in Brewster, just north of Harwich. And I'll ride in just about any weather...

Bike looks good Pat. One thing I've learned here- go easy on the ArmourAll on the tires and seat. Tires can get slipperey on the road if you coat more than the sidewalls, and a slick seat can mean you nuts meet the gas cap if you brake real hard!:pinch:
