Any particular area You need info on?
Pretty sure,if You do a search(here),You can get an "On-line" manual for that bike.A 77 KZ1000 manual will work for You as well,just so You know.

We need more info...have you modified the exhaust?...modified the air intake system?...modified the carbs? etc. etc. Then, we might be able to make a guess (educated) on your situation.

The bikes as original as you can get. The only thing I can think of is the choke. The choke got stuck a few times recently. ?Possible to foul plugs? Ed
