Newb

Howdy! I am now the proud owner of an 82 KZ1000 CSR. Picked it up running and dirt cheap ($650!) I am digging the streetfighters and cafe's lately and am doing a cross between the two. She already has a 4-1 pipe, clip-ons and a corbin gunfighter seat that came off my Dads 81 KZ1000, which sadly he blew the motor up on (oil pump fell off?) but good for me because I get to snag all his good parts=) I came here knowing I would be able to gleen some valuable information from folks who have been there, done that and those are the best foks to learn from. Im 28 and live 30 minutes north of Seattle with my dog and a couple roommates. I like long walks on the beach and dinner by candle-light;)

Welcome to the site! What was your father's bike? LTD or CSR? I might have to take off my oil pan now and check the parts under there, especially since my oil light is on
