I'm new here!
02 Apr 2007 19:35
Hello all, I have read some in the forum trying to get the info I need to get my 74 Z1 running good. I just ordered some new pistons today, so wish me luck on that endeavor. I was given the bike a few years ago and the engine was in boxes. I have had it running with those parts, but it had issues. ( low compression, worn cylinders) Nice to meet you all.

It has pod filters, an aftermarket pipe,4-1, don't know who made it, but it wasn't me. I getting a 1015 kit for it. I am also going to do a valve job and clean up the ports. Also rejet foe the larger displacement.

I'd say that you know how to build a motorcycle!
Nice looking bike... a 1015 kit should make it scary-fast!

That's right, or left , I mean correct. That's why I said I don't know who made it. Must have come from England. It lloks just like a Kerker, but no emblem or spot where there was one. The pipes aren't the greatest looking either. I tried to clean them up without much luck. I really like that pic because you can't see how crappy the back wheel and paint on the frame.
