Hi and thank you
15 Feb 2007 10:33
Hi everyone,
I am a new member and I thank you for sharing your knowledge with the KZ riders. You have already helped me with my '83 KZ750 N2 Spectre. I am converting it to cafe and your advice to others has been invaluable.
Keep the dirty side down,
Corey

I have two pics for you, the first is from 2004, sorry about the quality, and is of the bike as it was when I bought it. It really was in pretty good shape.
see here
I disliked the Black and Sonic Gold paint scheme, so I Kreemed the tank, , then prepped and painted anything that was gold. I chose cherry red or gloss black and even did the rims and forks.
Currently, I have the engine removed to replace most of the gaskets, check for wear, and to paint and polish. Also, I am trying to create a seat pan for the cafe look and have a cardboard mock-up on the bike.
see here (and please ignore the obvious signs I have a 2 yr old)
I am thinking about ways to lower the headlight using the existing brackets, which are welded to the fork covers. Has anyone ever tried turning the fork covers upside down and using them on the opposite sides of the bike? If anyone has advice there, I would appreciate it.
