4 months ago i was lucky enough to get a hold of '79 KZ650C3 that wouldn't start. It was not ridden in 6 years and not started in 2. nevertheless, it was love from the first sight. It's now my project. I am excited to be on this remarkable forum, which looks very organized, resourceful and professional.

Welcome to KZR. the best site on the net for info on old kawasakis. be sure to get some pics of the bike up so you can have before and after shots to brag with later;)

Hello Alexander, and welcome. You are right, we are all very professional around here. Like 77 sez, post some pictures of your bike; post pictures of yourself, wife, girlfriend, etc too.;) Nobody here would mess with them, don't you worry.

Welcome,

There is a lot of help and information on this site, so take advantage as you get your bike in good running shape. I am in Berkeley, btw.
Petaluma and Truckee, CA -- member since Jan. 23, 2003;
PREVIOUS KZs: 1980 KZ750H with 108,000 miles; 1980 KZ750E with 28,000 miles; and KZ750H street/cafe project, all sold a few years back.

This is what I do for fun, not for work. It is art, with a little engineering thrown in.

78 KZ1000 work in progress in Hacienda Heights California and a 82 KZ1100 Spectra And a 1992 ZX11.
