'81 550 GPz mirrors was created by cpgpz
When I purchased my '81 550 GPz the stock mirrors were gone. It had bar mirrors, which I really didn't like. I have trided two sets of after market mirrors but both sets vibrated so bad that I couldn't see out of them. A friend loand me a set of Kawasaki mirrors that work great, no vibration, but they are in bad condition cosmetically. The dealer wants $113 each for stock mirrors. Where can I get some for a reasonable price?

i've got some of these on my kz550 and they're fine:

they vibrate at 75 mph, but not 65 mph, which is good enough for me.

I tried a set of the aftermarket mirrors that you have. They vibrate so much that I can'tm use them. Guess I ride too fast!! (My mirrors vibrated well below 75mph.) The Kawasaki mirrors that I am using have a shorter and thicker arm and don't vibrate at all.

I really would like to get a new set but I don't know which model they came on. The dealer shows rectangular mirrors on the 81 GPz, but the dealer price of $113 each is too much!

The rectanguar mirrors would match the head light.
