Vetter saddle bags and fairing values was created by Bob_79KZ
I just aquired a 1979 KZ 1000 ST (shaft drive) and it had a Vetter fairing and saddle bags, both in good shape. Of course I removed them first thing...

I'm wondering if there is any resale value to them, complete with hardware? Or should I just toss them?

Not to much for the fairing, but the bags with mounting hardware fetch a pretty good price on eBay. If the bags and fairing are a matching set, they may fetch more if sold that way.

Once when I was looking at a 1979 Honda-750-4 10th Anniv. LTD Edition full dresser I tried to figure in the value of the accessories. If you put in the bikes info to Kelley Blue book,kbb.com then go down to accessories it give values for them, added to the value of the bike.. At least it is a starting point. Ebay too is a good place to gauge the market.

I agree that the bags are more desirable than the fairing (I also have a fairing I can't seem to get rid of), but you should sell them as a set on eBay, pickup only. Make the poor sap who wants the bags take the fairing... ;)
