Does anyone know if the GPz550 or 750 tailpiece (seat fairing/cowl) are interchangeable with an '83 GPz1100?
Thanks.

Only the 750 is interchangeable with the 1100.

Thanks, I thought they were the same, but wasn't sure because of the difference in seat length.

The '83 1100 and 750 have different sized seats? That's interesting, the '82's that I have, have the same sized seats (and same basic footprint) but the associated hardware is different.

I thought they were the same too. I first became aware that there was a difference was on the Corbin site where they list the 750 and 1100 seats under different catalogue numbers.
I bought a solo seat kit from Bob_Z1, and just to double check it was an 1100 seat, he compared it to his 750 and it was about 2" longer.
A local mechanic, told me that the frames are different too, but I don't know how accurate that is.

I know the frame on my 1100 is longer (98 link drive chain) vs my 750 (88 link drive chain), but two-up on a bike (no matter what the cc's, is still two-up). Yours is an important little factoid. Thanks.
