headache or worry wart? was created by nl59
Hey, guys so I have had heavy rust deposits in my carbs and filters after multiple attempts to remove the rust from the tank. I overdo most projects and I didn't want to see any more rust.... So I KREEME'D it haha I thought I had followed instructions perfectly. I woke up this morning and checked on it and the Kreeme had settled to the bottom or maybe as directions says to not allow happen "puddled"

Should I worry about this or fill it up with fuel and be done? I have completely rebuilt the engine over the last 6 weeks and I am ready to ride. My carbs are very clean (as far as I know without running it) and don't want to be cleaning them in a month because of the tank liner.

Thought or advice is very appreciated!

Also, contemplating buying a new tank with good paint and interior...

In the photo I see that there is streaking. Is the streaking just that the Kreem is thicker in those areas?
Assuming you have full coverage and it has completely dried/hardened, then I wouldn't worry about it.
Also assuming you followed the instructions precisely.

Correct. There are just some spots that are thicker than others. Thank you!

I applied Kreem to my original fuel tank quite a few years ago, and I think it has similar streaking and I never had a problem with it. That tank is now in the attic, and it's been a while since I've looked at it.
