Touching up white lettering on vinyl seats?

Hi all - I would like to touch up/re-do the white lettering on the back of a couple of seats. Some people apparently have used a stencil and spray paint, but I am looking for something a little more precise. Getting the silk-screening redone would be impractical so paint seems to be the way to go.

I was thinking about spraying some rattle can paint into a cup and then using a small paint brush to go over the letters. Home Depot also carries Sharpie oil-based paint pens. Heck, Testors model paint might work, too.

What do you guys use to touch up the seat lettering?

Duplicolor vinyl & fabric spray paint might work, but there are limited color choices. They do have a gloss white, but I have no idea how suitable gloss would be in this application.

I read somewhere that adding a little bit of talcum powder to glossy paint will tone down the gloss. I haven't tried it - and don't have any talcum power handy - so maybe I'll look for satin or matte vinyl paint.
