KZ750 Spectre 1982

I plan on using POR 15 for the frame and maybe the wheels. But what paint should I use on the tank? I've been looking for months now and idk. I plan on the engine being black with polished side covers.

A close friend of mine mentioned Seymour. I trust his word, so I assume it's a nice paint. There are a lot of paints there. Can someone tell me the difference and which on is best for the engine?

1 - HOT SPOT® HI-HEAT RESISTANT PAINT

2 - Cast Blast

3 - HI-TECH® ENGINE ENAMELS

The guy said cast Blast but I assume he meant #3 engine enamel.

Any advice/opinion on it are welcome.

Assuming you plan on using rattle cans. On the fuel tank I would use an automotive paint, then for fuel resistance top coat with a 2k clear urethane, such as SprayMax, as gasoline attacks most if not all rattle can paints.

I plan on leaving the gas tank a brushed metal.

My question is about what paint I should use for the engine and the wheels, more so the engine.

Painting a gas tank is just like painting a car. There are various grades of paint available, with the higher grades providing better durability and gasoline spill protection.

High grade materials include epoxy primer for application on top of the clean metal, then use a base coat and urethane clear coat system. There are a lot of options available, with most being pretty good if you buy from a real automotive paint manufacturer. Dupont and PPG are a couple of leaders in the field, but there are some smaller guys that make good products as well.
