How wrong would it be to put KZ1000 MKII
Emblems on the side panels of a 1980 KZ1000 A4??
From what I know the last badged MKII was the 79’ model and in 80’ they went to just KZ1000 badge . So the 80’ isn’t realy considered an MKII although from what I can tell it’s identical .... but I’m not an expert just a casual observer .

I believe its called "Oppositional Defiance Disorder"

I would say go for it if you have the MKII badges. The 1980 A4 was for all intents and purposes the same as a 1979 KZ1000MKII, so why not? I never understood why they decided to drop the MKII designation in 1980.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

I need to buy some , getting the kz repainted because of a stupid move on my part and dented the tank
So repaint will be to original but when I took the badges off the side covers I noticed they were realy crazed from age.

It’s just a thought ..... but I might get the MKII
