Colour code? was created by Variomatic
I'm trying to find the colour code for a 1980 KZ1000 LTD, he wants it done in green, does anybody happen to know the colour codes of any green shades Kawasaki used during this time period? I've looked high and low but I can't find the code anywhere.

Finding a color code is one thing, but what's more important is finding a paint mixing formula. Most automotive paint stores will mix to match so take in a sample and give them a crack at it would be my suggestion. Colorrite sells motorcycle paint but I haven't bothered to check to see if they have a formula for your bike.

There are no actual color codes from Kawasaki.
PaintWorkz is one place that probably has some good matches. paint!

You can try searching the color on eebbaayy. The stock paint of my 81 650-csr is Sundance Blue & there is a seller who used to carry it. He no longer lists that particular color, but I bet he can still mix it. He lists a small number of colors & he may have others not shown. not sure if this is what you'd want to do, but here's the seller. vintagemotorcyclepaint
