Gooday

Man I hope you found the answer somewhere and let me know. I just bought a 1982 Z1000R R1, but she is in rough shape man gonna be a long project, but shes still alive atleast and saved her from being turned into a cafe racer. I was also wondering about the coulor as I can see the original coulor is much lighter than the rattle can the prevois owner used, I understand the green is 9 parts yellow and 1 part blue. But like yourself Im not sure what the gold on the wheels and shocks should be, if you found the answer please be as so kind as to inform me too!

Appreciate.

There was something about this years ago on the 1000R forum, from memory I think it may have been a Dihatsu gold?

The original ELR green is not that bright, I did mine in a more modern kawasaki racing green which is really bright in the light and pops nicely off the blue/white/gold graphics.

Probably not "correct" but I think it looks pretty good.
