ELR Replica wheel paint was created by ThatGPzGuy
Hey gang, I am in the paint and put back together phase of my starter clutch rebuild. While I was at it i was looking at my wheels and was thinking of repainting them. For those of you who have done the ELR Replica look, how did you do the wheels? Here is what they currently look like:

I wantd to repiant the dark gold section with something that stands out a little. For those of you who have done the ELR replica what did you use for wheel paint?

Here is what I ended up with:
Cleaned it really good. Taped it off and went with VHT gold caliper paint. I had to order it since the local auto parts placed didn't carry it. A little brighter than I was looking for but I think it will work out all right.
Taped:

The cush hub is already painted.

Now I need to do the front.
One thing, Don't forget these are tubeless tires. If you undo the valve stem nut as soon as you move the wheelthe valve stem will fall inside the tire. Ask me how I know... :(
