Wow, that is genuinely revolutionary. I guess custom auto paint is just a small part of it's applications.

I can see a company like 3M throwing money at that idea and bringing that technology to a lot of applications.

I don't see it patented yet and they need to get this product out there fast. Fascinating!

I would wonder how heat and/or fuel resistant it is.

Thanks for the link! I'm very interested in this... I may go get certified. It sucks that you can't just watch a how-to video and buy a pint of it. I want some.

Yes, interesting technology. Custom auto paint is the cherry on the cake, the applications on this are immense. Honda have tried this before in the past apparently.

Doing a bit of research myself in 'electromlumiscient' it seems there might be a Dupont product already out there. Some of these trick paints are crazy expensive, this phospur based paint might be why it hasn't cuaght on. Definitely an emerging technology to watch though imo.

I thought I had seen something like this a few years ago on a tv weekend car show that would change the color of paint using electricity. It was also very expensive. This is pretty cool paint. As for chemical resistance lime fuel I do not believe it is an issue because you clear over the paint.
