Fairing or No fairing? was created by Spencer440
No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationI was curious to see what everyone's input is on this fairing. Would it be effective in keeping the wind off and what do you guys think about the looks of it? I know it's all up to me, but I'd like some input. Here is a picture of my bike in it's current form.

And here is the fairing I am looking at.

that almost looks like a GS1000 fairing. I have seen that viper fairing for real cheap before

The small fairing will only keep the wind off if you have your head behind it. But they look better. All depends on your size too. Im` 6.3 and mine don`t do much for me

Looks wise, your bike looks great the way it is. Still looks cafe with the low handle bars and very retro. A fairing will change the looks a lot. I have the LockHart Phillips on mine. The one that DoctoRot posted the link to above. In my case I did it mainly to cut down the wind. And this one did keep the wind off my chest and shoulders. But not my head. At 70+ on the highway that is still a big help. Here is the fairing below. You can see the height relative to my sholders. And I can always tuck behind the shield if I wanted to briefly go above a 100.
