Side cover I.d help

Hello I am still working on my kz car tire st. Bike still getting parts I am using a 1980 ltd frame has 2 upper rubber mounts for the side cover , I want to use z1r side covers or kz side covers , I have a set that are green and in bad shape and I want to replace them with the long triangle ones . I'm not sure how to identify the one I have the fit well and I want to buy some frame z1 enterprise any hep would be greatly appreciated . Here is some pics hope they come out right side up

The side covers in your pics look like they're from either a Z1R or maybe a KZ1000-A3/A4. (?)
Z1Enterprises has both types, as well as others... search their site for side covers.
I'm not sure what type you want to get.

Ya that's what I was thinking the green ones fit great I want to buy them just don't know how to tell if they are kz or z1r is there a number that I can cross the frame the were on will not exept a ltd tank were z1r frames different

They look like what Martin says, either a 1978-80 Z1R or a 1979 KZ1000A3 MKII. Usually the part number is stamped right on back of the cover. Look for that, then it can be figured for sure.

The number I tood made in Japan and letter r does that help

Thanks guy that's what I think z1r mine does nosy have a key hole ,I am going to order them up ,

I have seen the pic of the blue kz that is one of the pics I am basing my bike off , I am going to match tha seat

The Blue bike has a car tire Beasly tail/fenderette.
