Side cover o-rings/rubber washers? was created by nickjcoco
Hey all. I ride a 1978 KZ750 Twin. The plastic side covers have a habit of coming off while riding at high speeds. This is annoying, and probably a bit dangerous as I've had to take some concentration off of riding just to make sure they don't go flying behind me into whoever is following. I've noticed the rubber o-rings/washers that hold them on are HORRIBLY worn and was curious if there was a replacement out there? Maybe something at a hardware store I could snatch up or if I have to an OEM or aftermarket option I'm missing. I've done some searching, but am unsure I am wording what I'm looking for correctly.

Thanks!

Those grommets (part #92071-056) are still an "Active" Kawasaki part, so any online or local dealer can get them for you. Have the dealer check the number before buying. Partzilla lists them at $1.97 each. Ed
