Does anyone know where the seat on this bike came from? I love the look of it, but can't find it on the web anywhere. It looks like a Corbin, but it's different. Is it maybe an older model from Corbin? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check the www.WIN-PMC.com site (use the translator to navigate in English...although it remains a bit tricky). Everything on the site can be ordered through www.z1enterprises.com as they are the North American distributor.

It does look like a PMC seat. They are nice, they come complete however there are no threaded hole locations for the latch assy for the 77 78 KZ1000 as they are a Z1 seat pan, on the one I received anyway. You will have to mod the bracket hole locations for the KZ1000 latch. I don't know why they didn't do this at the factory and make this seat pan a universal model for both models. Still, it is not brain surgery as it's only a seat latch... but a bit of a pain.

That looks similar to a corbin GFL (gun fighter and lady) with a slightly different cover pattern. Maybe it was modified? I have a standard one on my '78:
