That came out great. I'd shorten up the front fender a little if it were mine but that's just my thought.

Thanks Mark.

Yeah I was going to run no fender at all in the front, but after putting it back on it looked like it belonged and looked good with the rear fender.

But yeah, I would certainly like ot look into shortening it a little.

So what do you think, a little off the front and a little off the back?

Do you think just taping it off and use a cutting wheel would work best? I actually cut the rear fender with a hacksaw, :) but I knew you wouldn't see where I cut it anyway and it was also a straight line cut. I know making the front shorter will also allow me to get ridf of those tabs for the front fender braces easily.

I'd try an LTD 1000 fender. Their shorter on both ends and are finished off nice on the ends.

Thanks Mark, I'll have a look for one. Beats trying to hack up an exisiting one that's in pretty good shape. So I assume all the mounting bolt holes are the same then....?

There pretty close, nothing a little elongating won't fix. I've had a KZ 1000 front fender on my 650 since 78.

I just added an LTD front fender to my 750. The back holes are perfect but the front ones needed drilling. It was alot easier than cutting one up, that's for sure....

If you don't mind, a couple suggestions to "finish off" that look?
Very cheap too!
I am thinking, maybe, under 50 bucks total, IF you buy new bars!

Drag bar- or, the flatter LTD Kz bars,
Bar end mirrors
take the fenders off, take them down to a chroming shop, have them "de chrome" the fenders- shouldn't cost more than 20 bucks! Then go and rattle can them- and, if you want to get really cool and low buck, take the tank off, mask a checkerflag four 1" squares wide down the center of the tank, rattle can it white, and

viola' you have the down and dirty bobber/cafe racer look you are going for- complete!

Should be pretty comfy too, no hard core rear sets LOL

Otherwise- looks killer, two thumbs up from me!

Looking good man. :)

Looks like I'm going to be upgrading my ignition though before I see any real street use. I'll be ordering it next week so hopefully in the next 2 weeks I should have it all ready to go. New coils, Dyna-S Ignition, and plug wires will be on their way soon. :)
