If you are saying it didnt work?? Im an old gheezer ,so sometimes I dont quite get it.
I did a side cover using the tech article that was on here, Sorry!, Dont remember anything about Acetone though.

Have 1975 Kawasaki Z1-B & 2003 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail Classic
Had Hondas, Harleys and many ,many Z Series Kaws both Std. & LTD's

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configuration

e bay has abs pipe with a selection of sizes.........natural white color.....abs solvent looks to be available too

Ed, It did work...I just meant that the abs plumbing pipe is no longer sold, (along with the glue)...so i made my own glue by dissolving abs plastic slivers in acetone to make ABS repair putty...Ugly on the inside, but seems like a strong repair!
