I have just finished hand sanding my entire frame. What are people using to prime and paint their frames?B)

I did my swingarm, sanded and used Rustoleum red primer, with Rustoleum Glossy black. It looks real nice.

The self etching primer is the way to go and also a standard primer or a durable type.

When preping the frame for primer, what gade of sand paper should you go up to? I used 50 to get to where I'm at now.

50!? All I used was 150 Plumbers mesh sandpaper. all the dust falls through the mesh and it lasts awhile. didnt take no time at all to get to the metal, in the cracks and crevices I got to it with a wire wheel and the plumbers paper torn in narrower strips, worked well.

EDIT: If I ever do another one its getting bead blasted or sand blasted for sure.
