does anyone know where I can get the covers for my speedometer and tach. I have the chrome cups for the bottoms of the guages but I would like to get the chrome rings that clamp over the tops.

Just type in KZ in the main search.
you'll have to do some searching from there.
Hint, the 650, 900 and 1000's use the same covers.
If you run across a seller, Rice Paddy Daddy, go to his seller page theres a good chance he'll have some listed.

I have two chrome collars for 900/1000 speedo and tach. They are brand new, in the package. Apparently they are no longer available from Kawasaki. I bought them on ebay back in the spring but they do not fit my 77'Kz650 Custom as the original owner of my bike changed the speedo from kilometres to mph. (I'm in Canada.)
They are slip-ons with adjustable rings but they do not slide over my speedo/tach collars. The packaging says part #'s K25012-010 -020 and -030 Check the Kawasaki parts catalogue and see if they fit your bike. I paid $80 U.S. including shipping.
Let me know if you are interested.

Klasmo has them, that's where I got mine. I think either the Old Bike barn does as well or American Classix, as I was looking at their sites recently and saw them.

Hey there Shane. Take it from a guy who has brought many bike parts across the border. By the time you pay the currencly exchange, shipping and border duties you may find that it is less expensive to make me an offer on the brand new ones I have here in Canada. Good luck with your Kz project-Cheers-Colin
