Can anyone tell me if the rear tailpiece on Z 900`s is the same as kz 900`s.Thanks for the Help.B)

taillight and tailpiece on Z1 are specific to the Z1 73-75 .B) goodluck,happy wrenching!anybody out there have a Z1 tailpiece ,fender and taillight they want to trade for an ltd rear fender,tailpiece and taillight?:whistle:

A person CAN interchange them with NO problems. It would take someone that KNOWS Kawasaki's to tell the difference.
But as was stated above, they are different in that the
Z1 has a different "flip" at the KZ. Or is it that the Z1 doesn't have one and the KZ does??? :dry: :unsure: :blink: :( Crap I'm getting old
I'll have to look at the Z1 and figure this one out:blush:

The Z1 tail light is shaped different than the KZ900s and I think the radius at the back is a tad different. They will interchange. The main difference on the back is the plastic inner fender and they DO NOT exchange. You CAN NOT use a Z1 plastic inner fender on a KZ900 with a KZ900 rear chrome fender.

Where do Z1's keep coming into this ?
As this was asked before, I'm guessing the Z1 issue may be confusing someone.:unsure:
I take Z900 to mean Z900-A4 (European/Aussie) as compared to KZ900 (American)
They're both the same (tail-wise)
