I have a Kawasaki Vetter fairing. Does anyone know where to get the lowers? How about mounting hardware? Some is still on the fairing, but nowhere near what the exploded diagram Craig Vetter has posted shows.

Craig Vetter's site talks about lowers, as in which ones fit which models.

I have mounted two or three Windjammers on KZ's, and the only hardware was the one piece mounting frame. What hardware do you have?

What is your ride? I have a fairing bracket, and I think it's for a 1000. I can measure it up to my frame to see if it will work for you.

If you are looking for the mounting "hardware" for lowers on your Vetter fairing you can find them on ebay, or you can find them at www.craigvetter.com , or you can simply go to a hardware store and look for "well nuts" They are rubber pieces with a threaded metal piece embedded in the end. You press them into the holes in the fairing and the mounting screw passes through the lowers into the well nut. As you tighten the screw the well nut colapses locking the lower to the fairing. B)

I believe the lowers are TYPE 3 for the 650/900/1000 Kawasakis.

They only used the plastic bolts to mount the windshield. A later update added a set of metal clips to the top outside mount points to cut down on cracking.
