Dale the stock 1980 H-1's were black with a dual gold stripe. I've got a spare 1980 tank sitting around here you are welcome to borrow in order to match the striping. If you decide go go with the black just let me know and we can set something up.

If you'all find a good source for the pin striping, please let us know. Next winter I might try and get my tank and covers painted to match original. My 82 kz750 has the dual gold/red stripes

Gringo, I think I've pretty much decided to have the spare tank and side covers redone to OEM. ... Soooo ... Yeah I would love to borrow your tank for an example. I'll get ahold of Ya and we'll set something up !

Link14, my paint guy can hand paint the stripes if need be. (more $$$) Otherwise I was just gonna go to the local automotive paint supply shop and find some tape that's close. If I use tape I'm gonna have it cleared in.

Gringo, the black with gold stripes was the ONLY color option for the '80 750LTD's right ???
