Hi guys I'm in need of some advice, all my fabrication is done and it's now time to paint.
here's a photoshop version of my vision for assistance. Basically the frame will be a dark metallic blue, sprayed and not powdercoated, firstly cos in south africa to powder coat in the blue i want is virtually impossible, and secondly i want to smooth off the frame joints and glitches with bondo and i hear it isnt too fond of the heat required for p.c. So thats the frame, the tinz will be in a matt black, now this is where i'm worried, ive read here and there it's a nightmare to do right, and from what ive read the black denim is my first choice, my question is how do i do it? any help would be appreciated Also the frame, any primer paint suggestions that will make it as strong and resistant to chipping? This will be my first real paint job, other than my wall unit, and am really not sure where to start....
Thanks

It is a two part poly 6:1 ratio Flat Polane goes on like silk I will be using Polane-b for my engine. ("T"= Flat, "B"= Gloss)It is also one of the most inexpensive Polys I know of and you will not have to put any type of clear over it. One thing I would like to suggest for your bike; Since you have a chopper stile geometry, you may want to put 81-85 LTD stile fork lowers on it. They are offset to the front of the fork tube and should make the bike more stable. ontracts and it is virtually indestructible.
