Has anybody used the end of bar mount mirrors that Z1 has to offer? I have the 7/8 sport bars I currently have the stock Z1 mirrors on it but being that I'm 6'3 my shoulders are in the way of the mirrors

Hey fastkaw, yes I currently have one on my KZ750 and did have two on the 1000(didn't like the looks on the 1000). The one I have is a cheap mirror and it blurrs at certian speeds, maybe a better one wouldn't? But I do like the looks of it with my clubman bars though. I also like the adjustability of it.

Thanks for the info I just ordered a set from Z1 enterprizes along with a set of Oury grips I will inform on them once installed. They have to be a lot better then what I have now I can only see my

Make sure they are convex glass or might as well throw them in the trash. Every aftermarket mirror I have ever seen uses regular mirror glass. That just *does NOT* work.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

on my kz1000, i'm using the 'long' z1 mirrors, and they're fine.

on my kz550, i'm using some short HD mirrors with these extenders:

nice bike!

i've tried a bunch of mirrors on my kz1000 and like the look of the long z1 mirrors the best. the mirror extenders would move them out another 1 5/8". i ordered mine in aluminum, but sprayed them black to blend with the black handlebars, mirrors, grips, and switches.

Thanks for the comment on my bike. Back in the 80's I was stationed in California and I had a 78 KZ900 that had the bar mount mirrors on it when I bought it. For the life of me I cant remember the brand, but I really liked those mirrors I was up and down the coast with that bike for 4 years sold it when I got out of the service now wishing I would have kept it :(
