I have the opportunity to buy a spectra that has been sitting under a tree for awhile.

I am not interested in fixing it up, due to parts availability, but would it be a good buy to part out on ebay?

or sell whole on ebay?

i dont know much but if you say that you dont want to fix it up because parts are hard to find, than parting it out sounds pretty good.

traded my classic Kz's for a 2001 Kz1200r

Just so you know (and I'm not trying to sound like a know it all dick) it's "Spectre", as in ghost, phantom, spirit, spook, apparition.

Yes, that's the British spelling. I'm not sure why the Japanese thought that'd be a good thing for Americans, maybe it seemed slightly more... ghostly if they used the British spelling. I think they wanted us to believe that this model was manufactured in a haunted castle...

"Spectra" is the plural form of "spectrum", like a rainbow.

So how much do you want for the tachometer? ;)
