i got a cll at work tonight that made me cry was created by oldkaws4ever
i had trusted my friend to bring my tank side covers and tail section for my 1977 kz 650 over to the guys house thats painting it. well around 7:30pm tonight i got a call from my friend saying he had some really bad news about the body parts for the 650. He said he had forgotten to close the tailgate on his truck, and he merged on the highway at like 60 switched lanes and he seen my tank both sidecoves and the tail section fly out and get run over by an 18 wheeler. Now i never cry, except for tonight. I was so pissed now i gotta hunt down new body parts.

He better be buying the beer for a LOOOooooonngg time. I guess it happens.. I once dropped my entire toolbox off the back of my truck, took me an hour to pick it all up. In fact I didnt realize it at first and when I did I backtracked and caught some jerk stealing it.

Man, that's a tough situation! If he's really your friend, you can't kick his ass and you can't really even hold him responsible for his incompetence (if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself).

That said, this dude sounds like a complete and utter DUMBASS and should be ashamed of himself.

Has he made any offer of restitution?
