How much paint?

I'm thinking about bringing my bike back to the stock paint job and stripes. Actually probably more like the bike found here www.redlinecycle.com/Coldwells%20KZ900.html . The color is much better in my opinion than the diamond dark green which was original.

Anyway, I think I will pick out the paint and give it to the painter when I get it done. So my question is, how much paint should I buy for the job (tank, side covers, tail) ?

Also, what's the best paint out there these days? House of Kolors, PPG???

Well it depends on if it's base coat clear coat or single stage paint. What type of paint does the painter normally use? Both you mentioned are good, H O C probably a litter better. I like Standox.
