Vin# will tell you the model year, but I don't think it has any color code info....at least on Z1's and early KZ900's

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

The good news, is that most KZs were only offered in two (and sometimes, one) paint scheme. If you know the model/year, and can find ANY little scrap of original paint (inside the duck tail?), then you'll know. 'Course you still have to try to match the original color/stripes. Not easy.

when i stripped the tank, i found about six layers of different colors of paint (no kidding) the PO went crazy with the paint gun. no original paint left anywhere. i'll try the green...:)
