changing fork seals was created by Mcdroid
Hello folks:

I'm about to dive into something I've not attempted before...changing my fork seals on both my bikes (always paid someone else to do it in the past). The part that bothers me is shown in the KHI manual and they indicate that a special tool (fork seal driver) is used to set the seals. Is this special tool really necessary? Can something be fabbed to replace it?

I am also having a problem with trying to change the fork seals (kz1300) and do not have the special tool.
Does anyone know the exact size of the end? ie,
it is four sided, right? how wide are the sides?
My 3/8 and 1/2 socket drive extentions do not fit.

For the HOnda I last changed I used a threaded bar with
double nuts on the end.

any help is appreciated.
