As noted in another thread, the 1982 1100 Spectre and the 1982 1100 A2 use the same frame. The 1982 1000 LTD has a different frame part number, and the CSR yet another.

Wookie pointed out that the LTD, and I presume, the CSR have more rake.

I wonder what other differences there are between the three frames and also if the A2 and maybe J fuel tank and seat would fit the LTD and CSR frames without modification?

I recall that a member (a number of years ago) 'converted' a 1981/2 CSR/LTD 1000 into a GPz clone using a GPz fuel tank.  One of the differences noted was that the rear of the tank on the CSR/LTD tank fit to the frame via a bolt while the rear of the GPz1100 tank (similar to the J model tank) attaches to the frame via a peg (into a rubber grommet). I do not remember how he altered the attachment point.  I'll have to do some digging to uncover the posters name.

The fellow who posted the conversion of the CSR/LTD to a GPz is otakar...he was last active in December of 2023 so he should still be around.
