I think that slmjim and Z1BEBE are referring to your elusive hub damper.  There are currently 5 on eBay.

It looks like some of them listed as 42014-026 are different and possibly a newer style. I don't know how interchangeable they are.  If you can use the type found on the 1981 K650-CSR, it was used on a bunch of different motorcycles (42014-033).  Partzilla has a cross-reference.  Another possible option is to repair the old one if it seems doable. some guys used polyurethane adhesive, I think what's used on car windshields. 

EB item number:  355161537077. I'm assuming this one is the 42014-026.

Old school but very effective fix is to cut up an old inner tube into strips and fold them over the sprocket carrier prongs to fill the wear of the damper rubber slots. 


Z1000J2 somewhat modified!
