Mag rims for a 1981 kz650 csr?

Hi I’m looking to get a set of mags for my 1981 kz650 csr. It has all factory rims on it and I was wondering if anybody had information on what mags would fit onto the bike if any without modifications. Also if I buy the rims do I need to get the front rotor with it and the rear brake hubs or just the rims. Thanks for the help 

I have the same motorcycle and installed KZ550-Ltd chain drive wheels, direct swap.
All you need are the wheels & front brake rotor. everything else swaps. axles, speedo drive, sprocket carrier, brake panel, etc etc.
I would install new brake shoes as an old lining can separate & lock the rear wheel. It happened to me, so it does happen.

Hi and welcome, did same with info from martin’s post, but front is from 82 750ltd, as is front end has duel brakes, have since changed rear to 18” I’m taller, and cut seat down, have 16” wheel and tire with few hundred miles, if interested, for just shipping,                                                                                

hi firedog im in the uk you dont say where you are ,i have a friend who has a 1000 a2 that came over from the states it had a 16 inch rear mag wheel and i guess a 18 inch front ,he changed them for spoked wheels will these fit

HI David, firedog is in the USA (Indiana) so probably not a viable option 

Thanks guys I appreciate y’all’s help unfortunately david it’s not feasible for me to get those rims off of you as I do live in the USA .Martin thank you for you information. It helps a lot. Love your bike looks great with those mags.

Jwfels I am definitely interested in getting that rim off of you. I don’t know how to pm anyone of here if it works to get you the information needed. Do you have any ideas?

There are a number of other wheels you can use, but some only the front.  Partzilla has diagrams w cross-reference.
The 1983 KZ650-CSR came stock w cast alloy wheels. shoulda mentioned that one earlier. doh.
Other models: 1980 KZ650F & 1980-83 KZ550A, both of which had an 18" Rr. 1983 KZ550M Shaft Fr. 
KZ440G Fr plus a few other 440s (front only, not the rear). and probably some others. 
Credit for the 550Ltd swap kinda goes to Andy-the-Gringo: I was looking into those and saw that he installed them on his 650.

Don’t think F model was sold in N America, found 18” wheel in Germany, eBay-global-Moto, also have a 18” shaft wheel, for 550/750 same deal if anyone interested

The 1980 KZ650-F1 was sold in the USA. The parts diagrams at Kawasaki.com and Partzilla are for the North American market, so if a motorcycle is listed there, it was sold here. pretty sure.  Models only sold in Canada are usually noted thusly, such as the 84 750K Ltd Belt.

Looked for 2 years in US, not here, but here are pics of 16” wheel let me know
