While there are some shoddy practices going on such as tapping on threads, swarf being shoved inside, sandals, and I’m not so sure they didn’t re-use the old oil or a proper measure, the basics are here for rebuilding a non-rebuildable shock.
The pliers in the vice trick is pretty slick for grabbing hardened round stock.

"Swim against the current, even a dead fish can go with the flow"-somebody (I forget Who)

Very. interesting! 

Their safety procedures are minimal.  No guard on the grinder...no safety glasses.  

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

The grinder was pretty well balanced tho.
