When I was ready for starting up the bike after lunch today, I observe some side ways movement on the front tire… don’t know why I observe it because I was sitting on the bike…

I have checked more now and when I try to move (90 degree on rotation direction) the tire by using two hands I can feel a cap/wobbling not huge but it’s there and you can hear the sound…

when I driving I havent feel anything else then the brake force is variate when keeping the same pressure on the handlebar… so I guess the wheel goes side to side…?

when I just rotate in driving direction I found it hard to conclude if I can feel anything…

Anyway I’m 5 hours 400km using the highway..
and 7-8 hours with countryside roads and more active driving… my plan orginal plan was taking the small roads on the country side… up and down and left and right….

My question is what does less harm for the bearing, less braking as possible?

Or do I have so much «left» that I can drive normal?

I wouldn't want to risk a bearing failure on the front wheel. I'd be getting it checked at a motorcycle mechanics as soon as you can safely get to one. It's saturday so don't leave it until until monday assuming nothing will be open on a sunday where you are. If you have any kind of roadside recovery cover now is the time to use it.

There should be zero movement when the axle nuts are tight, DON'T ride it like that you could end up dead.

You probably have a bearing that is destroyed inside. As soon as you take it apart it should be apparent.

It’s not possible that the bearing is loose in the «house»?

I should have paid more attention to the wheel bearings… 4-5 years since I replace them…

how to get home…

Make sure the axle nuts are tight, not overly so.  If the issue is still present then post where you are located. You never know maybe some member here can provide assistance with a repair or transport to another location for such.

If you have money to burn, a tool like this is really nice.

Failing that, a long punch.

When installing new bearings, don't drive them in all the way to the bottom of the cavity in the wheel.

Drive the first bearing in until you can get the snap ring installed over the bearing, then go to the other side.  There is a spacer between the bearings.  Flip the wheel over, drop in the spacer, then drive the 2nd bearing.  As you get close to the depth needed, the snap ring groove will show, and the spacer between the bearings will snug up.  You don't want the spacer under compression, just take out the excess movement, then install the snap ring.

To piggyback of Nessism,

“You don't want the spacer under compression”
Driving the bearing too far in is a quick way to lock up both bearings due to too much sideways load being placed on them. This is extremely important and was also the cause of me having to buy 2 wheel bearing kits because I screwed the pooch on the first one.
